Testing Methods

Unmoderated Testing
Observation (Free Exploration)
Visual Affordance Testing
Scenario Testing
Task Specific Testing

After initial prototypes were created, I leveraged unmoderated testing techniques to experience how different users interacted with the application. Our test included real estate agents, homeowners, prospective buyers, restaurant managers and car dealership owners. Each subject provided a variety of insight relative to their industry.

This testing was leveraged once again after wireframes were refined.

A/B Testing

Initially creating multiple iterations of the prototype and navigational architecture allowed for A/B testing with all of the primary target groups. By utilizing multiple iterations and users for testing, I was able to quickly and effectively rule out past solutions that did not provide the highest end-user experience.
